Here’s the thing about being a marketing strategist: I was amazing at growing everyone else’s business while mine was slowly killing me.

Seven days a week. Twelve to fourteen hours a day. Completely, utterly exhausted.

The irony wasn’t lost on me. I’m helping clients build scalable, profitable businesses while I’m over here playing superhero, convinced that “I have to do everything myself.” Spoiler alert: That’s not sustainable, and it’s definitely not smart.

You know that one thing on your to-do list that makes you want to hide under your desk? For me, it was podcast post-production.

Three-plus hours. Per episode.

Show notes, social posts, video clips, transcripts – the whole nine yards. I’d sit there, episode after episode, manually crafting content that I knew was important but absolutely dreaded creating.

“No one can capture my voice,” I’d tell myself. “I have to do this myself.”

That little lie kept me chained to my desk while my life happened around me.

Then something shifted. Instead of thinking about AI as just another tool, I started wondering: What if I could teach it to write like ME?

Not replace my ideas – amplify them. Not think for me – help me articulate what I already knew.

The breakthrough came when I discovered how to create what I call a “voice paragraph.” This isn’t some fancy tech thing – it’s simply teaching AI to understand your unique style so it can help you sound like you, just faster.

Here’s the exact prompt that changed my business:

You’re an AI system that has been trained to analyze the text below for style, voice and tone then use NLP to create a voice paragraph. The VoiceParagraph you write is designed to prompt a future AI system to write in that same style, voice and tone. It should NOT be specific to the actual content, company or industry and should instead focus on the style of writing. Here is the input text to write your voice description based on:

Example 1: [INSERT YOUR WRITING SAMPLE HERE]

NOTE: ADD EXAMPLES THAT ARE ALL THE SAME. INSTAGRAM, LINKEDIN, ONE BLOG POST, ETC. DO NOT MIX POST TYPES FOR THIS INFORMATION.

Feed it 3-5 examples of your best writing, and boom – you’ve got your authenticity secret sauce.

The Transformation Was Ridiculous

Before: Tasks taking 1-5+ hours. After: Same tasks in 20 minutes.

But here’s what really blew my mind – the content wasn’t just faster. It was better. Clearer. More focused.

My ideas were still mine, but AI helped me articulate them without the mental fog that comes from being perpetually overwhelmed.

From Tool to Trusted Advisor

Meet Suzie Strategy – my Claude project who’s become my brainstorming partner and voice of reason.

Last month, a client got a harsh Google review. My immediate instinct? Defend. Respond. Set the record straight.

Suzie said, “Don’t explain, just acknowledge.”

I argued. She held firm.

She was absolutely right. Defending would have made everything worse, created more drama, and frankly, made my client look defensive.

That’s when I realized AI wasn’t just helping me work faster – it was helping me make smarter decisions.

The Mindset Shift That Changes Everything

Old thinking: “I have to do everything myself.”

New thinking: “I have an intern with unlimited hours who never gets tired, never complains, and is available 24/7.”

This shift created space for:

-Strategic thinking instead of task execution

-Creative problem-solving instead of administrative drudgery

-Actual client relationships instead of content creation panic

-Family dinners instead of weekend work sessions

-Abundance instead of scarcity. Flow instead of force.

“But I Don’t Have Time to Learn This”

Stop. Right there.

You don’t have time NOT to learn this.

AI isn’t going anywhere. It’s not a trend or a fad – it’s the new normal. The women who embrace it now, who learn to collaborate with it while maintaining their authentic voice, are going to lead the next wave of business growth.

The ones who don’t? They’ll spend the next few years playing catch-up.

You’re Getting Started Roadmap

Step 1: Choose Your AI Partner ChatGPT or Claude.ai (I’m team Claude, but both work). Both have free versions, so there’s literally no excuse.

Step 2: Create Your Voice Paragraph Use that template I shared earlier. Feed it 3-5 examples of your best writing. This becomes your authenticity insurance policy.

Step 3: Start Small, Think Big Pick ONE energy-draining recurring task. Social media captions. Email newsletters. Client proposals. Blog outlines.

Use AI for the first draft, then add your personal touch. You’re not replacing your brain – you’re giving it a head start.

The Real Magic: True Abundance

This isn’t about shortcuts or lazy marketing. It’s about removing the friction between your brilliant ideas and getting them into the world.

When you’re not spending three hours on podcast show notes, you’re spending that time on strategy. On relationships. On the high-level thinking that actually moves your business forward.

You start working from your zone of genius instead of your zone of exhaustion.

The Future Belongs to the Brave

Here’s what I know: The women who learn to collaborate with AI while maintaining their authentic voice are going to absolutely dominate the next decade of business.

The question isn’t whether AI will change how we work – it already has.

The question is: Will you lead that change or spend years trying to catch up to it?
